This article is based on an anonymous survey which was sent out to Philosophy A-level students with the aim to answer the question: What is Philosophy A-Level really like? From the perspective of current students, this article sheds light on the honest everyday experience of a Philosophy student which hopefully will help to inform your decision if you are deliberating on whether to pick it as a subject for next year.

The majority responded with ‘No’ and two said “yes, more difficult than I thought”
